The Build
A grade change between the house and the lawn had made the back of the property awkward to use. We resolved it with a generous stone patio at the upper level and granite steps down to the yard — consistent risers, set on real foundations, so the descent feels effortless.
A freestanding fieldstone wall wraps the seating area, giving the space a sense of enclosure without closing it off from the garden beyond.
